Mel Carney - Highs and Lows Bombarded
A mind boggled with too much
Of a not good life
Decisions of Life and Death
had to be made on the strength of
A nickel chocolate - bar.
The strength to fling away dangerous orchestrations,
Even those that could transport one
Far beyond
Being
To a Calm
Of a mind numbing Relaxation
Are seen as a Victory!
My upbringing had given me Faith and Prayer
And even at the lowest of low’s there was hope
For the training Ran deep and the Inner Strength to go on, was
Greater than the orchestrations
However, time began to run its course and the
Disciplines of both Body and Mind
Were in
Decline
Then on a bitter cold night, my faith
Brought me to a young and collared man, who gave of himself,
To one who was nearly lost.
It was a timely stay in the loving hand of God which led
The physical body and ethereal mind
Into a place of solace.
His caring and my faith
Guided me
From a winter of disenchantment
To living life to the fullest
